ClimateTech Venture Studio
Ben is Founding Partner of the ClimateTech Venture Studio — we fund and support scientists, engineers, domain specialists and operators with the skill and the will to build ambitious climate deeptech companies. Participants join as Founders-in-Residence during up to a year and, if successful, leave with a company with co-founders, advisors and €250k pre-seed funding. Focus areas include carbon removal, hydrogen, low-carbon construction, marine-based solutions, computational chemistry & biology, and more. Directed market research based on 500+ interviews with investors, founders and scientists. Advised industrial corporates on net-zero technologies, and supported early-stage climate startups, from nuclear fusion to bioproduction. Evaluator to the HelloTomorrow Challenge, the world's largest prize competition for deeptech startups, in the climate and energy track. Ben holds an MSc in engineering from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and has over a decade of experience in technology and sustainability. Previously, he co-founded a non-profit on digital social innovation, and used to be a management consultant. Ben loves science, nature, electronic music, and a good pairing of wine and cheese.
