Julien Pellaux (Switzerland/Brazil) is Head of Executive Office and Chief of Staff at UN Women. He manages the Office of the Executive Director, advises the Executive Director on all matters under her purview and supports UN Women’s priorities and organizational coherence. He has more than 15 years of experience on gender equality, human rights, sustainable development, executive support, strategic planning and political analysis. Prior to this role, Julien served as Strategic Planning Adviser and oversaw the development of UN Women’s Strategic Plan 2018-2021. He also served in other positions for UN Women, UNFPA and UNDP at headquarters and in field offices. Julien speaks six languages and holds a Master of International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (Switzerland).
