Pieter Van Midwoud is the Chief Tree Planting Officer at Ecosia, where he manages the company’s portfolio of reforestation projects. Pieter and his team work closely with local organizations and communities to plant, care for, and monitor native and endangered tree species, growing biodiverse forests and agroforestry systems in over 25 countries around the world. Prior to joining Ecosia, Pieter was the Director of Partnerships and Business Development at The Gold Standard Foundation.
