Sophie-Dorothée Duron is an administrator of maritime affairs for nearly 20 years. She has worked for more than 12 years for the protection of the marine environment through various positions at the marine protected areas agency in French Polynesia, at the french ministry of environment and at the Cabinet of two environment ministers. She is currently Deputy Director of Water and Biodiversity at the Ministry of Ecological Transition. The directorate for water and biodiversity co-leads the national working group of dolphin bycatch in the Bay of Biscay with Directorate for for Sea Fisheries and Aquaculture.
